‘She Was a looker when I met her’ – Brow grow

There’s a rumour going round West London that one’s ears and nose continue to grow throughout one’s life. Bad news for the Night Owl who’s just had a big birthday and is a bit sensitive to that sort of information.

Luckily, help is at hand. Apparently, – and I guess, logically, come to think of it – the trick is to make everything else appear larger, such as one’s eyes, brows and lips. (A face equivalent to carrying a large handbag to look physically slimmer). In particular, the larger the brow, the smaller the nose will look (so I’m told by my make-up artist friend). It kind of makes sense. So how to do that? The products on this page have proven very effective.

Brow Artist Plumber, £5.99

This tinted L’Oreal gel plumps up the brows by adding fibers to the hairs. All you have to do is brush through the brow.

Use a lighter tone than your brow colour, we found it quite intense. But it’s easy to use and good value.

Benefit Gimme Brow

At £18.50 The Benefit Gimme Brow is a pricier alternative but we think it’s fair enough as the fibres in this appear slightly smaller making it a little easier to create a more natural result.

IMG_0747Finally, if you’re in it for the long term and able to splash out a bit, try the Elizabeth Arden Brow Enhancing Serum. At £90 (4ml), it isn’t cheap. But it works. We have tested it and it delivers. Brush  through the brows a couple of times before bedtime, particularly around the thinner areas.  Two weeks later (sometimes earlier than that) you’ll have thicker brows.
